I did go on the second trip in May 1990 to Poiana Mare Psychiatric Hospital to help renovate the children's wing. There we saw hundreds of children, in dimly lit rooms blacked out windows, 10 to a cot in some cases, covered in sores and their own mess. There was very little nursing care and little affection shown to the children by the staff. It is a sight, which will remain with me for the rest of my life.</div> <bR> <div> Over the last 15 years I have returned on a couple of occasions.
